non-wine

General term for an out-of-standard smell or taste of a wine in the context of a wine appeal, which almost exclusively refers to a wine defect, often of chemical origin. Among other things, cork tastes, mould taste and stink are counted among them. However, since the term alone is very imprecise, an additional description must be provided to ensure clear identification.
