The winery is located in the municipality of Perchtoldsdorf in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Thermenregion. It is managed by Georg Nigl, who was able to gain a lot of practical experience during numerous wine study trips to Australia, South Africa and France (Bordeaux). These are brought to bear in the vinification of the wines with the company motto "Working in and with nature with respect for traditions". A wine tavern on the Kunigundberg is attached. The vineyards cover six hectares of vineyards in the Goldbiegel, Herzogberg, Haspel, Lindberg and Weißer Stein vineyards with different soil types typical of the region. The white wine varieties Gelber Muskateller, Grüner Veltliner, Sauvignon Blanc and Gemischter Satz (with vines over 50 years old) are cultivated, as well as the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir. The near-natural cultivation is carried out according to the rules of organic viticulture with the aim of sustainability. This includes humus management and the complete renunciation of synthetic mineral fertilisers. The elaborate care of the vines, which are cultivated in close stocking, is carried out purely by hand.
