Niagara Red

The white grape variety originates from Brazil. Synonyms or cultivar numbers are Niagara Rosada, P.I. 149001 and Red Niagara. It is a red-berried somatic mutation of the variety Niagara White. The berries have a muscat tone. The variety is used as table grape. In 2016, 469 hectares of vines were recorded in Brazil (Kym Anderson statistics).
