Nepal

The Himalayan state in South Asia with its capital Kathmandu borders China to the north and India to the east, south and west. In 1992, two hectares were planted with European grape varieties in Jonsom in the Annapurna massif at 2,750 metres above sea level. This is the highest vineyard in the world.
