Producer description of "Weingut Otto Nehrbaß"

The "Otto Nehrbaß Winery & Distillery" is located in the municipality of Schornsheim (Nierstein area) in the German wine-growing region of . The traditional family business is now run by the fifth generation of the family, the two siblings Bianca and Hein Nehrbaß. The vineyards cover 23 hectares of vineyards in the single vineyard sites Mönchspfad, Ritterberg and Sonnenhang. They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Bacchus, Kerner, Silvaner, Scheurebe and Müller-Thurgau, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, St. Laurent, Cabernet Mitos and Blauer Portugieser. The vineyards are cultivated according to environmentally friendly criteria in line with the farm philosophy "In harmony with nature".
