The winery "Angelo Negro e Figli" is located in the municipality of Monteau Roero (province of Cuneo) in the Italian region of Piedmont. The traditional winery was founded in 1670 by Giovanni Domenico Negro. Today it is managed by Giovanni Negro. The vineyards cover 65 hectares. They are planted with the red wine varieties Nebbiolo (main variety), Barbera and Dolcetto, and with the white wine varieties Arneis, Favorita(Vermentino) and Moscato(Muscat Blanc). The natural cultivation is carried out according to the rules of sustainability. The product range includes red and white wines DOCG Roero, DOCG Barbaresco, DOCG Barolo, DOC Langhe and DOC Barbera d'Alba. 350,000 bottles of wine are produced annually, 60% of which are exported within Europe as well as to the USA and Asia. Grappa is also produced.
