single vineyard in the municipality of Mußbach (Neustadt/Weinstraße, Mittelhaardt-Deutsche Weinstraße area) in the German wine-growing region of Pfalz. There are no specific interpretations about the origin of the original name, but the donkey symbol is omnipresent in the municipality. Among other things, at the eastern entrance to the village, a barrel floor set up vertically shows the image of a donkey, and in summer there is a donkey skin festival at which a live donkey is also paraded around.
