Muscat de Bugeac

The red grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Alphonse Lavallée x Pierrelle. It is mainly used as a table grape, but also as a wine grape. The hybrid was crossed in Moldova by the private breeder Ivan Gavrilov, where it is also grown in small quantities. The berries have a muscatel tone. In 2016, two hectares of vineyard area were designated (statistics Kym Anderson).
