Muscat d'Italie

Synonym for the grape variety Italia; see there.

The white grape variety is a new variety between Bicane x Muscat d'Hamburg. Synonyms are Doña Sofia, Idéal, Iri Daneli Ak Uezuem, Italia Bianca, Italia Blanche, Italian Muscat, Italia White, Italija Bijela, Moscatel Italia, Moscatel Italiano, Moschato Rozaki, Muscat d'Italie, Pirovano 65 and Uva Italia. The cross was made in 1911 at the Research Centre in Rome by the breeder Alberto Piròvano (1884-1973). In Brazil there are three somatic mutations with other berry colours...
