The winery is located in the municipality of Spay in the German wine-growing region of the Middle Rhine. The family has been involved in viticulture and agriculture for 300 years. The change to a pure winery took place in the 20th century under Heinrich Müller, whose son Matthias now runs the business together with his wife Marianne. The vineyards cover eight hectares of vines in the Bopparder Hamm in the Engelstein, Feuerlay, Mandelstein and Ohlenberg single vineyard sites. They are mainly planted with Riesling (6.7 ha), as well as some Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. The wines are preferably fermented spontaneously and matured in steel tanks to emphasise the fruit character and origin. The best two to three wines of a vintage are marketed as "Selektion MM". The premium wines include "Bopparder Hamm Ohlenberg Riesling". The winery has been a member of the VDP (Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates) since 2007.

In the past, you needed a wealth of encyclopaedias and specialist literature to keep up to date in your vinophile professional life. Today, Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one of my best helpers and can rightly be called the "bible of wine knowledge".
