DOC area for white wine in the Italian region of Sardinia. The zone covers the whole island, but the wine is mainly produced in the Anglona and Gallura mountains in the north. The Gallura and Tempio or Tempio Pausana subzones in Gallura may be mentioned on the label (only for Spumante). The wine is made from at least 90% Moscato Bianco (Muscat Blanc) and up to a maximum of 10% of other authorised varieties. There are also the wine types Passito (from dried grapes), Da Uve Stramature (from overripe grapes) and a Spumante.
