Moreto do Dão

The red grape variety comes from Portugal. It is described in Wine Grapes as a separate variety, but it is not included in the VIVC catalogue. Although it appears to have synonyms or morphological similarities, it should not be confused with Malvasia Preta (Moreto do Dão) or Moreto do Alentejo. In 2016, however, no stock was reported (Statistics Kym Anderson). See also under Moreto.
