IGT area (country wines) for white and red wines in the Italian region of Tuscany. It covers two hectares of vineyards in the municipalities of Castelnuovo Val di Cecina Volterra and Pomarance in the province of Pisa. Grape varieties authorised in the region may be used. Varietal wines must contain at least 85% of the variety in question, up to 15% may be other varieties. Different for each type of wine, a minimum alcohol content is prescribed, but no ageing period.
