Milne Kym

The Australian oenologist Kym Milne (*1965) is one of the best-known flying winemakers or consultants in the world. He first studied oenology at the renowned Roseworthy Agricultural College in Adelaide (Australia). He gained his first experience at the Australian winery Berri Estates and then worked in New Zealand at the renowned Villa Maria Estate. In 1991, he was one of the few graduates to successfully complete all examinations for the title Master of Wine at the first attempt. From 1992 to 1993, he worked as a freelance winemaker in Hungary and France before being hired as a manager at the British wine import company International Wine Services in 1993. Since 2002, Milne has been running his own consulting company "Global Wine Solutions" in Adelaide Hills. His wines regularly achieved top ratings and won international awards. He is also active in numerous international wine competitions as a judge or wine critic for European, Australian and New Zealand wines.
