Description for the smell and taste of a wine in the context of a wine address. This appears cloudy and has milky streaks. The wine tastes and smells buttery, in stronger manifestations unpleasantly scratchy and sweet and sour like cheese. The cause is different lactic acid bacteria, which cause various wine faults. Taste faults with similar effects are cheesiness, lime tinge and lactic acid t inge.
