Micro-Château

Designation (also Garagiste) for Bordeaux Châteaux that originated in the early 1990s and is especially common on the right bank of the Dordogne. Garage wines are produced there in very small quantities. There is no exact quantity limit for this, but this is the name given to wineries up to a maximum of about 1,000 cases per year.
