Merum

The wine magazine "Merum - Italien-Magazin für Wein, Olivenöl, Reisen und Speisen" (formerly "Merum - Die Zeitschrift für Wein und Olivenöl aus Italien") was founded in Basel in 1993 by the current editor-in-chief Andreas März. Merum editors are Andreas März and Fabian Hörack. Merum is designed by Heiko Mattern. Elena März is responsible for publishing, subscription and Degubox. The magazine is edited by Raffaella Usai, who is also in charge of the Merum Club. Today Merum is produced in Italy and printed in Aachen. It is the only German-language medium that focuses exclusively on Italian wines. The publishing house Merumpress AG is based in Zurich (Switzerland), while the editors work and live in Tuscany. Permanent staff members were/are Massimo Agostinis, Burton Anderson, Antonio Brancaleone, Maurizio Gily, Juri Gottschall, Mercedes Lauenstein, Cornelius and Fabian Lange, Jens Priewe and Jean-Pierre Ritler.
