The winery is located in the municipality of Leutschach-Fötschach in the Austrian wine-growing region of Southern Styria. The family has been involved in winegrowing for several generations. As a second mainstay, highland cattle are also bred. The farm is managed by Peter Masser. The vineyards cover 7.5 hectares of vineyards in the areas of Hoisl, Oberglanz and Sernau. They are 75% planted with the white wine varieties Welschriesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Morillon, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Gelber Muskateller, Sämling and Gewürztraminer, and 25% with the red wine varieties Zweigelt and Blauer Wildbacher. The cultivation is carried out according to the guidelines of KIP (controlled and integrated production). The wines are aged in steel tanks or in barriques, depending on the type. In years with suitable weather conditions, Eiswein and Trockenbeerenauslese are also pressed. Fine spirits (pomace, fruit) and bottle-fermented sparkling wine stored in yeast for at least 24 months are also produced. Every year the events "Wine & Steak", "Jazz Brunch" and "Picnic in the vineyard" are organized.
