The red grape variety originates from Uzbekistan. Synonyms are Krimsky Noir, Krymskii Chernyi, Maska Sieukh, Maska Sijoch, Maska Sio, Maska Sioh, Napoleon Chernyi, Napoleon Kara, Napoleon Noir, Nimrang Chernyi, Nimrang Noir, Tag Uzyum Chernyi and Tarousioum Tchernyi. The ancestry (parentage) is unknown. It is used as table grape. No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
