Marsigliana Nera

Synonym (also Marcigliana) for the grape variety Magliocco Dolce; see there.

The red grape variety originates from Italy. Synonyms are Arvino, Catanzarese, Gaddrica, Greco Nero (there is also an independent variety of this name with which it shares some synonyms), Guarnaccia Nera, Lacrima, Lacrima Cristi Nera, Magliocco, Magliocco Tondo, Maglioccuni, Mangiaguerra, Mantonico Nero, Marcigliana, Marsigliana Nera, Merigallo, Nera di Scilla, Petroniere and Uva Greca. Arvino refers to the place of origin, Lago Arvo in the province of Cosenza.
