There are two new varieties with this name:
The red grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Island Belle(Campbell Early) x Arkansas 1339, synonymous with A 1508, Arkansas 1508 and Mars Seedless. It contains genes from Vitis labrusca and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in 1973 by the breeder Jim. N. Moore at the University of Arkansas. The variety is mainly used as a table grape but also as a wine grape. It produces red wines with a light foxtone. In 2010, two hectares of vineyards were designated in the US state of Kentucky (Kym Anderson).
