IGT area (country wines) for white, red and rosé wines in the Italian region or on the island of Sardinia. It covers 12 hectares of vineyards in 9 municipalities in the province of Medio Campidano and 9 municipalities in the province of Oristano. Grape varieties authorised in the region may be used. Varietal wines must contain at least 85% of the variety in question, up to 15% may be other varieties. A minimum alcohol content is prescribed for each wine type, but no ageing period.
There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
