The winery "Società Agricola Marabino" with its headquarters in the municipality of Noto (province of Siracusa) in the Italian region or island of Sicily. It was founded in 2002 by the Irservice Group. The managing director is Pierpaolo Messina, the oenologist Salvatore Marino. The vineyards cover an area of 30 hectares, planted with the white wine varieties Moscato di Noto(Muscat Blanc) and Chardonnay, as well as the red wine variety Nero d'Avola. Since 2008, the vineyards have been cultivated according to the rules of Biodynamic viticulture, with certification in 2012. The fermentation of the wines is carried out spontaneously with the vineyard's own yeasts. No oenological means are used in the winemaking process. Sulphuris added only to the extent absolutely necessary. The product range includes the DOC red wine Eloro "Archimede", the DOC rosé wine Eloro "Rosa Nera" (both Nero d'Avola), the DOC white wine Moscato di Noto "Moscato della Torre" (Muscat Blanc) and the IGT white wine "Eureka" (Chardonnay).
For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
