DOC area for white wine in the Italian region of Sardinia. The zone covers eight hectares of vineyards in the municipalities of Bosa, Flussio, Magomadas, Modolo, Suni, Tinnura e Tresnuraghes in the province of Oristano. If the grapes come from classified vineyards, Vigna can be indicated followed by the name of the vineyard. The wines are made from about 95% Malvasia di Sardegna (Malvasia di Lipari). There is also a longer-aged Riserva, Spumante and Passito.
For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
