Branded wine named after the municipality of Ljutomer (Luttenberg) in north-eastern Slovenia. In 1868, a popular assembly took place in the small town, in which the Slovene-speaking population claimed its own state. In the second half of the 20th century, "Ljutomer Laski Rizling" was the best-selling white wine in Great Britain. The medium sweet wine is made from the Laski Rizling (Welschriesling) variety. See also under Tigrovo Mleko (Tiger Milk).
For me, Lexicon from wein.plus is the most comprehensive and best source of information about wine currently available.
