The winery is located in the municipality of Landau/Nußdorf (Südliche Weinstraße area) in the German wine-growing region of Pfalz. Viticulture in the traditional family dates back to 1605. The farm is run by Fabienne and Markus Lorentz. The vineyards cover 9.5 hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Herrenberg, Kaiserberg and Kirchenstück (Nußdorf). They are planted 50% with the white wine varieties Riesling, Cabernet Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Muscat, Kerner, Huxelrebe, Ortega and Müller-Thurgau, and 50% with the red wine varieties Dunkelfelder, Blauer Portugieser, Regent, Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Merlot, Schwarzriesling and Frühburgunder. The vineyards are cultivated in a natural, environmentally friendly way without the use of insecticides. The confusion method using pheromones is used on all vineyards.
