Linsenbusch

single vineyard in the municipality of Ruppertsberg (Mittelhaardt-Deutsche Weinstraße area) in the German wine-growing region of Pfalz. The vineyards, which face southwest to southeast and have a 5% slope, cover 220 hectares of vines. It is a very inhomogeneous site due to its huge size. The soils consist mostly of loam, as well as loamy sand and loess. The best plots are on the eastern edge. Here, the varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Scheurebe, Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Noir and Dornfelder are cultivated. The Christmann Arnold, Kimich, Reinhardt Stefan and Weingut von Winning wineries, for example, have shares in the site.
