Mountain region (ital. Lessinia) as part of the Venetian Alps in the eastern hinterland of Lake Garda in the Italian region of . It extends largely in the province of Verona, as well as partly also Vicenza and Trento. It is an extensive plateau of about 100 km² with extensive forests and pastures. It is rich in fossils and numerous natural phenomena. In 1990 a nature park was opened. The two DOC areas and are located in this region.
