Leistenberg

single vineyard in the municipality of Oberhausen in the German wine-growing region of Nahe. The south to south-east facing vineyard with a slope of 30 to 60% covers just under six hectares of vines. The soil consists of weathered, grey clay slate with clayey loam. The site is protected by the 400-metre-high Lemberg. Riesling is the main variety cultivated here. The Dönnhoff Hermann winery, for example, has a share in the site.
