The winery is located in the municipality of Eibelstadt (Maindreieck area) in the German wine-growing region of Franconia. The traditional family business has been growing grapes since the 17th century, the family coat of arms even dates back to 1594. In 1994, a new economic, barrel and storage cellar was put into operation. Today, the winery is run by Ernst-Dieter Kilian, with Dirk Engelmann as the administrator. The vineyards cover seven hectares of vineyards in the single vineyards Mönchsleite with 60% of the area and Kapellenberg (Eibelstadt). They are planted with the white wine varieties Silvaner (30%), Müller-Thurgau, Bacchus, Scheurebe, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Kerner, Traminer, Rieslaner and Albalonga, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Regent and Domina and the three red PIWI varieties (fungus-resistant) Baron, Cabernet Cortis and Prior.
