IGT area (Land wines) for white, red and rosé wines in the Italian region of Lazio. It covers 2,700 hectares of vineyards in the entire Lazio region. Grape varieties authorised in the region may be used. Varietal wines must contain at least 85% of the variety in question, up to 15% may be other varieties. Dual or triple varietal wines must be blended from two or three grape varieties in any mix; no others are allowed. For the wines, a minimum alcohol content is prescribed differently for each wine type, but no ageing period.
For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
