Lanzesa

The white grape variety originates from Italy. Synonyms are Lanzés, Lanzesa Bianca, Lanzesa Grün, Lanzesca and Lanzeza. The parentage is unknown. The vine is resistant to botrytis but susceptible to powdery mildew. It yields flowery white wines with a slightly bitter aroma and is also used as table grape. The variety is grown in the province of Ravenna in the Emilia-Romagna region. However, no stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
