The "Rotweingut Ing. Stefan Lang" is located in the municipality of Neckenmarkt in the Austrian DAC area of Mittelburgenland. The estate, rich in tradition, is a traditional 300-year-old Burgenland stretch farm, which used to be run as a mixed agricultural business and was restructured by Ing. Stefan Lang. In July 2003, the completely redesigned winery with press house, processing cellar, barrique cellar, tasting rooms and vinotheque was opened. The vineyards cover 17 hectares in the best vineyards of Neckenmarkt. They are planted exclusively with red wine varieties such as Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Grapes are also bought in. The wines are vinified in the three lines "Classic" (aged in large wooden barrels), "Exclusiv" (in used barriques) and "Reserve" or "Cuvées" (16 to 24 months in new barriques). The premium wines include the "Excelsior" cuvée (Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Blaufränkisch), "Blaufränkisch Grand Réserve Juwel", "Blaufränkisch Exclusiv" and "St. Laurent Exclusiv". Around 100,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. The winery is a member of the Blaufränkischland Mittelburgenland association.
