The winery is located in the municipality of Obersulm-Willsbach in the German wine-growing region of Württemberg. The family has been involved in winegrowing for several generations. After more than 30 years under the management of Christa and Gerhard Laicher, son Raimund now runs the business. A Besenwirtschaft is attached. The vineyards cover eight hectares. They are planted with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Lemberger, Trollinger, Muskat-Trollinger, Black Riesling, Acolon, Dornfelder and Samtrot, as well as with the white wine varieties Riesling, Chardonnay and Traminer. Natural viticulture is practiced with e.g. cover crop. The optimally ripe grapes are gently pressed and the must is slowly fermented under temperature control. The wine is matured in stainless steel tanks and partly also in barriques. Noble brandies (wine, yeast, pomace, fruit), Riesling vinegars, liqueurs and bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced.
