Synonym for the grape varieties Aleatico, Chasselas Violet, Lacrima di Morro d'Alba and Muscat Fleur d'Oranger (Lacrimae Christi).
In 2016, 226 hectares of vineyards were designated under the name Lacrima Christi in Chile (Kym Anderson). It is unclear which variety this is, because the VIVC catalogue does not list an independent variety named Lacrima Christi, but one named Lacrima Cristi (without "h") is listed. See also the Lsite of all varieties in the Lacrima name group.
For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
