The white grape variety originates from Italy. Its parentage is unknown (see a list of all Lacrima varieties). It should not be confused with the Coda di Volpe Bianca or Guarnaccia varieties (both with the synonym Lacrima Bianca). A direct descendant is the Ladikino variety. The variety is used for pressing and table grape No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
