The winery is located in the municipality of Ipplis di Premariacco in the DOC zone Colli Orientali del Friuli in the Italian region Friuli Venezia Giulia. The name derives from an ancient appellation which, in maps, refers to a farmhouse and a hill near the current headquarters, possibly derived from a proper name "Antonella". It was founded in the 1960s by Min Zorzettig and continued by his son Livio. Today, the third generation of the family is managed by two brothers, Massimo and Marco Zorzettig. Luigino Zamparo is the responsible oenologist. In 2006 a newly built winery was put into operation. The vineyards comprise 69 hectares of vines owned by the company and ten hectares leased. They are planted with 70% white wine and 30% red wine varieties. The average planting density is 4,500 to 5,000 vines per hectare.

The glossary is a monumental achievement and one of the most important contributions to wine knowledge. Of all the encyclopaedias I use on the subject of wine, it is by far the most important. That was the case ten years ago and it hasn't changed since.
