single vineyard in the municipality of Piesport (Bernkastel area) in the German Moselle wine-growing region. In the Prussian site classification of 1868, it was one of the highest classified sites on the Moselle. The south-facing vineyard at 150 to 200 metres above sea level with a slope of 50 to 60% covers only 0.1 hectares (10 acres) of vines on deep Devonian slate soil with a very high proportion of clay and fine earth. It is the smallest single vineyard in Germany. Only the Riesling variety is cultivated here. The Haart Reinhold winery is the sole owner of the site.
