The winery is located in the municipality of Segnitz (Maindreieck) in the German wine-growing region of Franconia. The Kreglinger family can be traced back more than 700 years, and there is evidence of winegrowing in the family since at least 1830. The winery is owned by Gertrud Kreglinger-Müller, and Herbert Müller is the cellar master. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vines in the single vineyards Kapellenberg (Frickenhausen), Sonnenberg (Marktbreit), as well as Pfaffensteig and Zobelsberg (Segnitz). They are planted with the white wine varieties Silvaner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Rivaner, Rieslaner, Scheurebe, Traminer, Bacchus and Kerner, as well as the red wine varieties Domina, Dornfelder and Blaufränkisch. The product range includes quality wines in litre bottles (dry = yellow label, not dry = grey label), Prädikatsweine in Bocksbeutel (blue label), red wines in Bocksbeutel (red label) and "Junge Linie" with red wine cuvée Rubinio, Rosé and Rotling in Bordeaux bottles. The white wines are fruity matured in steel tanks. The red wines are traditionally matured in large wooden barrels made of Spessart oak in the newly restored 17th century vaulted cellar. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines and noble brandies (marc, wine, fruit) are also produced.

The glossary is a monumental achievement and one of the most important contributions to wine knowledge. Of all the encyclopaedias I use on the subject of wine, it is by far the most important. That was the case ten years ago and it hasn't changed since.
