Single location in the municipality of Nierstein (Nierstein area) in the German Rheinhessen growing region. It is a part of the so-called "red slope" within the Rhine front. The Kranzberg is the cone facing north of the village with St. Kilian's Church in an exposed position. Shares in the location are held, for example, by the Heise am Kranzberg, Franz Karl Schmitt, Schwiebinger and Hans-Hermann Staiger wineries. There is also a second single vineyard called Kranzberg in Rheinhessen in the municipality of Dalberg.
