Korinthiaki Lefki

The white grape variety originates from Greece. Synonyms are Aiga Passera, Angur Kismisi, Corinthe Blanc, Corinto Blanco, Korinti Lefki, Lianorrogi, Passera, Passeretta Bianca, Passerina, Passerina Bianca, Passolina, Uva di Corinto, Weinbeerlein, White Corinthe, Uva Passerina, White Corinth and Zedig. This variety, thought to be very old, is probably directly descended from wild vines. It is probably related to the red variety Korinthiaki. Genetically almost identical to Korinthiaki Lefki is the Italian variety Passerina. No stocks were reported under the name Korinthiaki Lefki in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
