Kolliniatiko

The red grape variety originates from Greece; the name derives from the municipality of Kollines (Arkadia region on the Peloponnese peninsula). Synonyms are Bergiotiko, Eugeniko, Evgeniko, Eygeniko, Kolliniates, Kolliniatico, Kolliniatika, Kolliniatis and Vergiotiko. The parentage is unknown. The vine yields colourful red wines. It is cultivated in Peloponnese. However, no stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
