The "Wein- und Sektkellerei Kössler" is located in the municipality of Eppan (Appiano) in the Italian wine-growing area of South Tyrol ( Trentino-South Tyrol region). It dates back to 1631 and was taken over by the St. Pauls Winery Co-operative in 2005. In the KÖSSLER wine arbour on the village square of St. Pauls, wine tastings with vineyard tours and typical dishes are offered all year round. The white wine varieties Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio (Pinot Gris), Müller-Thurgau, Gewürztraminer, Goldmuskateller and Sauvignon Blanc as well as the red wine varieties Vernatsch (Schiava Grossa), Lagrein, Blauburgunder (Pinot Noir), Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are produced. The vineyards are cultivated using natural, environmentally friendly methods. The wines are mostly produced as single-varietal DOC Kalterersee, St. Magdalener and Südtiroler (Lagrein Kretzer etc.) in the "Classico" and "Sonderlinie" styles. The premium wines include the selection wines Gewürztraminer Selezione and Blauburgunder Riserva.
