The winery is located in the municipality of Deutsch-Schützen in the Austrian DAC area of Eisenberg. It is managed by Erich Körper. The red wine varieties Blaufränkisch (main variety), Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are cultivated to 85%, and the white wine varieties Welschriesling and Grüner Veltliner to 15%. Quality-enhancing yield reduction is achieved through short pruning and thinning out. The wines are exclusively single-varietal. The white wines are bottled very early to preserve youth and freshness. The red wines are aged after classic open mash fermentation, gentle pressing and biological acid reduction, partly in large wooden barrels, but also in small barriques made of French Allier oak.
