single vineyard in the municipality of Wachenheim an der Weinstraße (Mittelhaardt-Deutsche Weinstraße area) in the German wine-growing region of Pfalz. The southwest-facing vineyards with slopes ranging from 5 to 15% cover around 90 hectares of vineyards. The soils consist of weathered red sandstone interspersed with clay, sand and limestone. The white wine varieties Riesling and Pinot Gris, among others, are cultivated here. The vineyards Karst Ernst, Villa Wolf, Wachtenburg Winzer and Zimmermann Emil, for example, have shares in the site.
