The winery is located in the municipality of Ratsch an der Weinstraße in the Austrian wine growing region of Southern Styria. A Buschenschank is connected. The estate is managed by Tamara Kögl. The vineyards cover 11 hectares of vines in steep slopes around the Stemetzberg. They are planted with the white wine varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Grüner Sylvaner(Silvaner), Morillon(Chardonnay), Grauburgunder(Pinot Gris), Welschriesling and Gelber Muskateller, as well as the red wine variety Zweigelt. The cultivation is carried out according to certified rules of organic viticulture. In the cellar, the non-invasive rule of "controlled inactivity" applies with as few interventions as possible. The wines are vinified according to their typical origin. Due to the steep slopes, they may be called mountain wines according to Austrian wine law. A Frizzante Rosé is also produced.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
