The winery is located in the municipality of Purbach in the Leithaberg DAC region of Burgenland. Attached are a restaurant and a hotel, housed in an old monastery standing in the middle of the vineyards. From the terrace you can enjoy a view of Lake Neusiedl, and all wines are served openly here. The family business was taken over by Thomas Schwarz from his parents in 2005. The vineyards cover 14 hectares, divided into 60 individual lots in the Bauernfeind, Eisenberg, Eisner, Glauberinzer, Goldberg, Heide, Oberer Satz, Spitzmühle and Zottern vineyards. They are 75% planted with the red wine varieties Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, Blauburgunder, Zweigelt, Rosenmuskateller and Syrah, and 25% with the white wine varieties Chardonnay, Weißburgunder, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Grüner Veltliner and Traminer.

In 2006, the conversion to organic viticulture was completed. This means, among other things, cover crop and the renunciation of systemic-synthetic plant protection. The greatly reduced average yield is only 30 hl/ha. The highest attention is paid to fully ripe and healthy grapes. The premium wines are the red wine cuvées "Antonius" (Cabernet Sauvignon, Blaufränkisch, Merlot) and "Nepomuk" (Cabernet Sauvignon, Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Syrah), named after the patron saints of the former monastery, as well as Pinot Noir Reserve, which are stored for three years in barriques and large barrels before being bottled. Around 40,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. A "vintage" port-style wine is also produced. The winery is a member of Vinoveritas Austria.
