Kirchholz

Reed or location in the municipality of Horitschon in the Austrian DAC area of Central Burgenland. It borders directly on the Hochäcker vineyard. The loamy soil in the subsoil is interspersed with sandy gravel and partly covered with coarse gravel. Mainly the variety Blaufränkischas well as Cabernet Sauvignon, Zweigelt,Pinot Noir and Merlot. The Kerschbaum Paul and Weninger Franz wineries, for example, have shares in the vineyard.
