Keuka

The white grape variety (also New York 9936) is an interspecific new variety between Chasselas Rose x Mills. It was named after one of the eleven glacial lakes in the AVA area Finger Lakes(New York). The hybrid was crossed in 1913 in the USA at the Vine Breeding Institute of Cornell University in Geneva by the breeder Richard Wellington. She was a crossing partner of the new Ruby breed (2). In 2016 no stock was recorded (Kym Anderson).
