The winery in the municipality of Metsovo, in the wine-growing area of the same name in the region of Epirus in Greece, was created in 2001 through the merger of the two wineries Katogi Averoff and Strofilia. However, the independence was preserved. In addition to the Katogi and Strofilia product lines with PGE wines (country wines), three OPAP wines of the appellations Nemea, Patras and Naoussa were produced. The collaboration was terminated in 2016.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
